I already did a TB Test for another program, do I have to complete an additional TB Test?

  • No, if your TB Test is less than a year old your host site will be able to accept the results. However if you would like to be reimbursed you must show proof that you paid out of pocket via receipt.
  • Yes, If your TB test is more than a year old your host site will not be able to accept the results

Why am I required to take a TB test?

  • College Corps does not require a TB test. However, some organizations that work with vulnerable communities i.e. kids and seniors require any volunteer, intern, fellow, and/or paid employee to complete a TB Test.

Note: If your site requires a TB test that means you will be serving vulnerable communities and are REQUIRED to complete this before starting at your host site. Failure to complete this step can result in a delayed start date and can cause a potentially a delay in hour completion, and distribution of living allowance.
