Gator Votes

Gators Vote facilitates campus-wide efforts to mobilize the SF State community to register and turn out to vote. SF State encourages its campus community members to exercise their right to vote. You can find information about how to register and where to vote here. ICCE is the campus lead for this initiative.

📍 Annex 1 – Student Event Center (Precinct 9723)

Important: Always check your polling place before you go. Use your Voter Information Pamphlet or the Voter Portal to confirm your assigned polling place.

  • If Annex 1 is not your polling place, your name won’t appear on the roster.
  • You can still vote here by filling out a provisional ballot - it will count once your registration is verified.
  • Since this is a statewide election, your ballot will include the same statewide measure.

📅 Key Dates

  • Ballots mailed: October 6, 2025
  • Drop-off boxes open: October 6, 2025
  • Last day to register to vote (and get a ballot by mail): October 20, 2025
  • Early voting (in person): October 25, 2025 (in select counties)
  • Election Day: Tuesday, November 4, 2025 (polls open 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
  • Mail ballot deadline: Must be postmarked by Nov 4 and received by Nov 12, 2025

  • Register online at CA Secretary of State
  • Already registered? Double-check your info (especially your address) so your ballot is sent to the right place.
  • Deadline: October 20, 2025

Check to see if you are registered to vote, what your political party preference, and where you are registered to vote. Changed your address, name, signature, or party preference? Make sure to re-register to vote.

  • Drop-off boxes open: Also on October 6, 2025 — 37 locations across San Francisco.
  • Early voting in SF: From October 6 – November 4, you can vote in person only at City Hall’s Voting Center.

Early Voting

  • Dates: October 6 - Novemeber 4, 2025
  • Location: In San Francisco, early in-person voting is available only at City Hall’s Voting Center.
  • Note: The SFSU Voting Center is not an early voting site. It will be open only on Election Day, November 4.

Where can I mail in my ballot?

For those already registered to vote, you may have already received your ballot. After filling it out and signing the outside of the envelope, you have three ways to send it back: U.S. mail, Official Dropbox or at a voting site.
