Welcome!
We are so happy to have you as a host organization for our Cohort 3 Fellows!
Before students can begin at your site, there are several onboarding steps that our community partners need to complete per our compliance guidelines from our funder (California Volunteers, Office of the CA Governor and AmeriCorps).
Below provides you with the steps, information, and deadlines to get you started.

-
College Corps uses the AL online platform to track student fellows' service hours and this is also, where California Volunteers (CV) uses to communicate with fellows and partners.
-
AL is where fellows will post their hours bi-weekly and then you, as the community host organization site supervisor will review and approve.
-
Hours inputted in AL, is how we verify fellows' hours for their monthly your living allowance disbursement every month and education award at the end of your service term.
-
Your commitment to consistently review, verify, and approve
Fellow hours in America Learns in a timely manner is vital because the Fellows living allowance is dependent on timesheet approval.
Action Item:
- Partners need to create their America Learns (AL) account.
-
Complete the America Learns asynchronous training
Your assigned SF State College Corps (CC) program coordinator will send this to you via DocuSign Before August 1st.
This check-in is to review with you any questions you might have and status on your assigned fellows onboarding progress.
