- Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to Fellows in implementing the projects and activities described in the approved position description.
- Allow Fellows to participate in all virtual and in-person training and professional development required by the SF State College Corps program, even if it conflicts with regular programming. SF State College Corps will provide a calendar of required training and meetings with advance notice to help sites plan accordingly.
- Provide an orientation and general training to Fellows prior to their first day of service to support their success at the host site. Training should include topics such as safety, harassment and code of conduct policies, and any other relevant procedures.
- Monitor and verify that all hours submitted by Fellows are accurate and compliant with the guidelines outlined in this agreement and the California Volunteers College Corps regulations. Participate in data collection activities required to track program goals.
- Submit one final (close-out) performance evaluation for each Fellow in March/April. This end-of-service evaluation is intended to support the Fellow’s professional growth and reflection.
- Identify a site supervisor for the Fellow. The designated supervisor agrees to meet regularly with the Fellow to support their learning experience, provide guidance, review progress, verify service hours, and offer feedback.
- Ensure the designated site supervisor completes the required online orientations from both California Volunteers and SF State College Corps.
- Ensure the designated site supervisor completes the Supervisor Commitment Form.
