2027 Call to Service Grants Announced

ICCE is pleased to announce the 2027 Call to Service Grants. These grants support SFSU faculty and staff in advancing community-engaged teaching, scholarship, and partnerships that strengthen student learning and address community-identified priorities.

The 2027 Call to Service includes three funding opportunities:

• Service-Learning Course Development Grant
• Civic and Community Engagement Support Grant
• Eisman Award for Engaged Scholarship

Applications for the Service-Learning Course Development Grant and Civic and Community Engagement Support Grant will open August 1, 2026, with rolling review through January 29, 2027, or until funds are fully allocated. The Eisman Award for Engaged Scholarship will open August 1, 2026, with a deadline of November 30, 2026.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to explore these opportunities and begin planning proposals in advance of the application period.
