For the 2022 Holiday Season, San Francisco State University organized an SFSU Holiday Toy Drive! The toys collected were donated to Oceanview, Merced, Ingleside (OMI), and Lakeview Holiday Toy Giveaway and Celebration. This festive annual community event brings in the joy of the holidays with food and activities for the entire family and provides the youth of all ages with holiday gifts. The SF State Toy Drive was organized by ICCE and the Office of the President.
Highlights
Special thank you to the SFSU community who donated to the 2022 SFSU Toy Drive. We were able to have over 275 gifts donated to the OMI and Lakeview Toy Giveaway and Celebration on December 16, 2022.
ICCE and Child Adolescent Development Club members along with College Corp Fellows wrapped toys diligently over the course of three days and volunteered with our OMI and Lakeview neighbors, serving over 1000 families that day! Also, a special shout-out to the SF State Undergraduate Recruitment team for the community swag and tabling.
