Join faculty from across the California State University system for Purpose in Practice: Community-Engaged Teaching Across the Curriculum, a virtual faculty-to-faculty showcase.

This event features multiple faculty sessions across disciplines, highlighting practical approaches to community-engaged teaching that can be adapted across courses and programs.

In just 75 minutes, you will hear how faculty are:

  • Connecting coursework to real community impact
  • Partnering with community organizations to strengthen student learning
  • Integrating approaches such as AI for social good and reflective practice
  • Embedding community-engaged teaching across STEM, Humanities, Business, Health, and Education

This is a peer exchange designed to share practical ideas you can use right away.

Dr. Fernando Carvalho, Industrial Design
